Jason Jones
YENGSHUI, also known as Jason Jones, is a multi-talented artist hailing from Miami, FL. With a background in fine arts and design, YENGSHUI has served as the Art Director for The Beautiful Game Project, and is the founder of the creative Instagram blog @blackheartchives. He is also an active member of the Miami Black Arts Collective and has taught as an IB Art Teacher at Jonesboro Middle School. Currently, YENGSHUI is an Art & Technology professor at the Seed School of Miami, where he recently created an AR-driven activation for The City of Opalocka "Art of Transformation " event during Art Basel 2022. He was also selected to participate in the 2022 Absolute Equality Mural Project sponsored by Capitol One Bank.
YENGSHUI's work is a blend of pop art, symbolism, mixed media, augmented reality, and digital portrait art with a Pan-African perspective. His work has been exhibited in several shows, including "Xperience" and "We Are Here," presented by The Related Group, Liberty City Arts Exchange, and the Miami Black Arts Collective, and curated by Addonis Parker. In addition to his exhibiting career, YENGSHUI is also the Program Director for the Summer Rising Film & Arts Summer Camp, sponsored by the Related Group. With his extensive background in art and education, YENGSHUI brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the art community in Miami and beyond. His artwork is currently showing in "Dialogue on the Boulevard" Art Exhibit curated by Marvin Weeks located at the Sandrell Rivers Theater in Liberty City (Miami).
